Sunday, September 13, Senator Rockefeller held a secret health care Town Hall in Morgantown, West Virginia. Ten selected senior citizens were invited to his round table discussion. The public was not invited to Rockefeller's health care Town Hall. Indications are that the press was invited at the last minute.

Pictured see Sen. Rockefeller's empty seat at the Morgantown, WV health care Town Hall, August 22 where he had been invited to attend.

My earlier invitation to him to attend our August Town Hall noted that he had not held a Town Hall in Morgantown, which is the medical center of our state and region. I have never heard back from him. Congressman Mollohan responded to none of my requests or letters about health care reform. Senator Byrd recently responded to my Town Hall request.

Rockefeller has no reason to fear confrontation from the public.

The July 17 protest outside Alan Mollohan's office at the Morgantown federal building was peaceful and orderly.

Unfortunately, we were not allowed into the federal building to individually hand deliver our letters to congressman Mollohan.Later Mollohan's staffer said that we had been a homeland security risk so we were not allowed into the federal building. She said that we had been engaged in fist fights outside the building and hit the guard.

There is no police report or FBI report to indicate that there is any truth to this accusation. However, homeland security reports are confidential and one could exist.

Is this our representative government?

YouTube recently dismantled the Morgantown health care Town Hall videos. Both videos were of the National Right to Life political director speaking about abortion, rationing of care, and end of life care in HR3200 and the Kennedy bill.

These are the two health care "reform" bills moving through congressional committees, and creating anxiety for Americans. The day before the Morgantown Town Hall, factcheck.org wrote that National Right to Life was correct that abortion would be funded by reforms in these bills. This was after Obama accused them and others of bearing false witness.

It is not uncommon for YouTube to scrub conservative videos and close down conservative web sites. There is legislation in congress to allow the government to decide what information can be on the web! Frightening.
Obama Says "Government Funding of Abortion" is "Fabrication," But the White House-Backed House Bill Explicitly Authorizes It:
